From classic baked beans to ployes, it’s no secret that Mainers love to cook. That’s why we’re so excited to be joining up with Maine Public for a special cooking event online.

On Thursday, Dec. 10 at 1pm, we’re having a Maine Bicentennial Community Cookbook Zoom Chat. Jennifer Rooks, producer and host of Maine Calling, and I will be speaking with special guests including Margaret Hathaway and Karl Schatz, editors of the Maine Bicentennial Community Cookbook, as well as some of the people who created and shared recipes featured in the cookbook and even some of the folks who’ve been participating in the Dash of Maine Holiday Cooking Challenge at home.

It’s going to be a great time, talking about the recipes and the stories behind them, cooking tidbits and more.

We can’t wait to share our passion for cooking with you on this fun chat.

This event is free and open to the public. Register here.
