Police say missing Bowdoin woman is safe

BOWDOIN, Maine — Police said a Bowdoin woman reported missing Saturday is believed to be safe.

Alisha Brooks, 24, was last seen going outside to feed chickens and did not return, according to the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office.

Police said they are satisfied the information received concerning Brooks’ safety is genuine and are no longer asking for the public’s help to find her.
