Read Poliquin’s latest legal salvo and Golden’s response

U.S. Rep. Bruce Poliquin on Tuesday filed an emergency motion to ask the 1st Circuit Court of Appeals in Boston not to certify a winner in the 2nd District Race, where he lost to Rep.-elect Jared Golden in a ranked-choice runoff.

On Wednesday, Golden’s attorneys called Poliquin’s motion a “Hail Mary pass.” In addition to rejecting the motion for an injunction, the congressman-elect asked the 1st Circuit to affirm U.S. District Judge Lance Walker’s decision in Bangor. Read the full documents below.
