This explainer — which was put together by a solar panel company, and draws from several different sources — breaks down how much land you need. It also tells you how many solar panels you need, if you want to get your power from the sun.

It’s worth noting that this infographic is purely theoretical. It doesn’t appear to take into account where your land is — and it assumes you’ll want to raise pigs and goats. It also assumes a certain level of productivity from your land.
