PORTLAND, Maine — Police are still seeking assistance in identifying a woman found dead on East End Beach last month.

According to Lt. James Sweatt, the Medical Examiner’s office has determined the death is not suspicious.

The woman’s body was found on May 22.

The woman is described as being of Asian descent, 5’1’’ tall, weighing 100 pounds and with dark brown hair 12 inches in length, Sweatt said.

The woman also had pierced earlobes and a six-inch curved scar on her abdomen likely from a prior surgery. She has cosmetic tattooed eyebrows and is believed to be between ages 30 and 50.

Anyone with information should call Portland police at 874-8533.
