ENFIELD, Maine — An unidentified man robbed Bridge Street Market of some cash when he entered the store at about 6:15 p.m. Sunday and demanded money, state police said Monday.

The man had his hands in his pockets when he entered the market at 36 Bridge St. but pointed at the clerk demanding money before the clerk gave him cash from the register and he fled, said Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety.

No gun was displayed, McCausland said.

State police interviewed several witnesses and are declining to say how much cash was stolen.

  1. Brilliant. IT WASN’T YOURS. You are not suppose to take what does not belong to you. Where are your manners?

    1. I’ll bet they have plenty of manners.  Imagine it…..
“May I please front some pills?”

“Please,  kind sir,  don’t hurt me,  i’ll be right back with your money….”

  2. pretty small town to not have a clue who did it.. no cameras in the store. why will they not say how much was taken maybe they need to figure out what the deductible on the theft plan is first

        1. I hope they get him too. Robbery never pays off.  Very rarely is the penalty worth what you get away with.
