BANGOR – Lillian D. Robinson, 75, wife of the late Edward R. Robinson, died unexpectedly Jan. 19, 2005, at her Bangor home. She was born March 12, 1929, in Steuben. She enjoyed knitting, spending time with her favorite companion, her dog Maxwell, and spending many summers at Flander’s Pond. She enjoyed her special friends at the Diabetes Center and at Dr. Grover’s office. She is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Sharon and Larry Babcock of Bangor, Kathi and Robert Waite of Brookline, N.H.; five grandchildren, Kimberly and Rebecca Babcock, both of Bangor, Stephanie, Elizabeth, and Edward “Jake” Waite, all of Brookline, N.H. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her mother, Hanna Dyer; and her daughter, Kristi Jo. Friends may call 5-7 p.m. Friday at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Clayton Blackstone, pastor of the Bangor Advent Christian Church, officiating. Interment will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, Bangor. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Brookings-Smith Family Center, 163 Center St., Bangor, immediately following the service.
