Three people were taken to a hospital after a Saturday morning fire destroyed a mobile home in Durham.

Five people, including two firefighters, were taken to the hospital Saturday morning as crews battled a fire in a Durham mobile home park.

The fire, in the Country Acres mobile home park, destroyed the mobile home, said Curtis Dimock Jr., assistant chief of the Durham Fire Department.

Three adults, whose names were not released, were at the home when the fire broke out and were taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston. Dimock did not know the nature of their injuries.

Two firefighters, one from the Durham Fire Department and one from the Lisbon Fire Department, were also taken to an area hospital by Brunswick and Lisbon rescue.

Dimock said the state fire marshal’s office would attempt to determine the cause of the fire.
