Fort Kent’s Austin Theriault finished 13th in a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Illinois, on Saturday.
The race, the American Ethanol E15 125, had been postponed by rain on Friday night.
The 21-year-old Theriault, who is in the midst of a 13-race deal with Brad Keselowski Racing, started 12th and got as high as third on a lap 36 restart.
He finished three laps behind winner John Hunter Nemechek, son of longtime Sprint Cup driver Joe Nemechek.
Theriault’s BKR teammate Tyler Reddick finished second.
Theriault moved up one spot in the points standings to 24th. He has run six of the 16 races and that is the fewest among the top 27 drivers. Cole Custer, who is in 23rd place and leads Theriault by 28 points, has run seven races.
The rest of the top 27 have run at least eight.
Reddick climbed from third to second in points and trails leader Erik Jones by 10 points.
Theriault will next run a NASCAR truck series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, New Hampshire, on Saturday at 1 p.m.
