AUGUSTA, Maine — Gov. Paul LePage is calling for Maine to join residents of Boston and Massachusetts in a moment of silence Monday afternoon to mark one week since the bombings at the Boston Marathon, according to a press release.

Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Thomas Menino have called for the minute of silence to take place at 2:50 p.m. Monday to honor the victims of the attacks and their families, the press release said.
