WELLS – Carroll Norman Plourde passed unexpectedly Feb. 18, 2013, in Florida. He was born Oct. 2, 1945, in Presque Isle, to parents Norman and Lorna Plourde.
He graduated from Presque Isle High School in 1964 and moved to Connecticut. He was a talented, hard working designer and creator of handmade jewelry. His passion was traveling in his RV seeking gems, stones and silver for his jewelry.
He was predeceased by his father, Norman; and son, Adam. He is survived by his daughter, Alaine; grandchildren, Arin, Meaghen and Jordan; mother, Lorna; sisters, Sheila, Beverly and Tammy; and brothers, Chuck and Marcus. He had a great love for his family and for our most innocent, animals and children.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 15, at Mapleton United Baptist Church. Interment will be at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle. Those who wish may contribute in his memory to any local animal shelter. A memorial page is set up on Facebook.
