Alice E. Davis

MONSON – Alice E. Davis, 66, died Feb. 4, 2013, at Mayo Regional Hospital, Dover-Foxcroft. She was born May 16, 1946, in Monson, the daughter of Sybil (Turner) Lindie and Elmer Lindie.

She worked at True Textiles in Guilford for 36 years, and was an avid bingo player.

She is survived by her husband, Rick Davis of Monson; a daughter, Becky Wyman and her husband, Bruce, and their children, Rachael and Tyler, all of Bangor; three sisters, Marion Brown and her husband, Colby, of Abbot, Lydia Pechacek and her husband, Harvey, of Florida, Barbara Perkins and her husband, Jim, of Florida and New Hampshire; many nieces, nephews, cousins, her many bingo friends; their cat, Sam Davis; and best friends, Mack Melia and Anita Chambers of Monson. She was predeceased by her parents; and a brother, Allen Lindie.

Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, at Crosby & Neal, 21 Oak St., Guilford. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Pastor Ray Beless officiating.
