EAST MILLINOCKET – Brenda L. Lewin passed away peacefully Jan. 29, 2013, with her husband, Rick; and her daughter, Sarah, by her side. She was born Feb. 6, 1962, to Nathan Sr. and Winifred Lewin.
Brenda was a graduate of Stearns High School, class of 1981. She was a loving and devoted mother to her three children. Brenda was a longtime member of Schenck Boosters, in which she took great pride. It was a wish of Brenda’s to have a commitment ceremony to pronounce the love she had to her soul mate, which she was able to do Jan. 20, with her family witnessing.
Brenda is survived by Rick Rawlings; her daughter, Sarah Ambrose of East Millinocket; son, Jarod Ambrose and girlfriend, Heather Currier, of Portland; son, Chad Ambrose and wife, Melissa, of Farmington, N.M.; three brothers, Nathan Lewin Jr. of Patten, Kent Lewin and wife, Molly, of Peru, Maine, and Eric Lewin and wife, Lisa, of Millinocket; one sister, Julie Potvin and fiancé, Jerry Hamm, of East Millinocket; several nieces and nephews, eight great-nieces and great-nephews, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Brenda was predeceased by her parents, Nathan Sr. and Winifred Lewin.
At Brenda’s request, there will be no services at this time. There will be a committal graveside service in the spring, where she will be laid to rest with her parents at Millinocket Cemetery.
