BOWDOIN – Marlene Michaud Hutton, 72, passed away late Wednesday morning, Nov. 21, 2012, surrounded by her loving family at her daughter’s residence in Biddeford. She was born Jan. 30, 1940, in Caribou, the daughter of Martin and Lucy Guerrette Michaud.
Marlene was a homemaker, who loved raising her family. She was known as a very strong, caring and loving person. She was our safe harbor in the storm – she was our rock. Marlene had a great love of animals, going for walks and a particular fondness for peanut butter.
She was predeceased by one brother, Philip “Sonny” Guerrette. She is survived by one son, Ricky D. Hutton and his wife, Caron, of Costa Mesa, Calif.; three daughters, Michele Monteith and her husband, Kevin, of Bowdoin, Dawn DeLong and her husband, Mark, of Magnolia, Ky., and Carlie Sherwood and her husband, Todd, of Biddeford; her fiance, Ben Melanson; six grandchildren, James Rick Hutton, Owen Graham Hutton, Ian Martin Hutton, Sarah Ann Near, Heather Lynn Whitman and David DeLong; one great-grandchild, Joseph Robert Near; and her special friend, Linda Theriault.
A funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Rosary Church, Caribou. Burial will be afterward at New Holy Rosary Cemetery.
