BIDDEFORD, Maine — Workers are on strike at Hostess Bakeries across the country, including the one in Biddeford.

Members of the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers Union claim the company is withholding workers’ pension contributions, pocketing the money.

Hostess officials are threatening to liquidate the company if the strike continues.
