BROOKTON – Frank H. White Sr. “PaPa,” 84, passed away Oct. 19, 2012, in Bangor. He was born Jan. 11, 1928, in Brookton, son of the late John and Alice (Howland) White.
Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his son and best friend, Chris and his wife, Doreen White, of Brookton; a daughter-in-law, Nanette Chippeaux and her husband, Don, of Kansas; grandchildren, Brian White of Brookton, Chrissa and Roger McIver of Brookton and Christopher Chippeaux of Kansas; two great-granddaughters who were the joy of his life, Emma and Erin McIver of Brookton; sisters-in-law, Margi White of Brookton, Juanita Hunter of Mattawamkeag and Sandra Pratt and her husband, Doug, of Bangor; several very special nieces and nephews whom he loved and also great-nieces and great-nephews that brought great joy to his life; many close cousins, tons of great friends, along with all of his “girlfriends”; and his great buddy, his little dog, Ottis, whom he spoiled.
In keeping with Frank’s wishes, a graveside memorial service will be held in his honor 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at Brookton Cemetery.
