CARIBOU – Jon Patrick Wark, 46, died unexpectedly Oct. 13, 2012, in Caribou. He was born April 27, 1966, in Caribou. Jon will now rest in peace with his beloved mother, the late Arline (Bourgoine); and father, the late Donald Wark.

He graduated from Caribou High School and the University of Maine, Orono, with a master’s degree in speech pathology. Jon traveled extensively throughout the country practicing his profession, including working on an Indian reservation in New Mexico, Alaska and Oregon, and had his own practice in Indiana before retiring due to ill health. Jon was known for his dry sense of humor, and uncanny knowledge of trivia and music.

Jon is survived by his children, Sara and Jonas, both of Los Alamos, N.M.. He will be missed by his siblings, to whom he was the “little brother”; his extended family and good friends, most of which he had since grade school.
