HOWLAND – Gail S. Leveille, 61, wife of Ralph Leveille, passed away Aug. 21, 2012, at a Bangor hospital. She was born July 16, 1951, in Lincoln, the daughter of Gerald and Vina (Labbe) Frenette.
Gail enjoyed Hollywood Slots and bingo. Her greatest pride and joy was her family and her close friends. She loved to go to her brother’s camp at Shin Pond. Gail was a kind, caring and generous person, always putting others first. She fought a long and courageous battle with cancer, never complaining.
In addition to her husband, Ralph, she is survived by a son, Scott Young and his wife, Andrea, of Howland; a daughter, Jennie Leveille of Bangor; two grandchildren, Erik and Julia; two brothers, Gerald Frenette and his wife, Anita, of Lewiston and Everett Frenette of Shin Pond; two sisters, Debby Jackson and her husband, Travis, of Washington, Ga., and Karen Pelletier of New York; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by an infant son, Eric; and a brother, Michael Frenette.
Funeral services will be held 8 p.m. Saturday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. with the Rev. Emma Jean Cook officiating. Interment will be at West Enfield Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cancer Care of Maine. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
