KENDUSKEAG – Christopher Eric Ellis, 45, died Aug. 23, 2012, in Bangor, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born Sept. 26, 1966, in Hyannis, Mass.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved the time he spent living in Alaska. Chris cherished the moments he spent with family and friends especially those spent with his wife of 25 years, Sandra.
He was predeceased by his mother, Polly J. Gerrish. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Ellis of Kenduskeag; two sons, Christopher Ellis Jr. and Daniel Ellis; both of Bangor; six brothers and sisters, Edward Ellis Jr. of Brewer, Nathaniel Ellis of Newport, Laura-Lee Clark and husband, John; of Carmel, Mark Ellis of Georgia, Sonja LeBlanc of Cape Cod, Mass., and Edward LeBlanc Jr. of Georgia; father, Edward Ellis Sr. and wife, Kathy, of Cape Cod, Mass.; maternal grandmother, Alberta Boyne, also of Cape Cod, Mass.; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A service honoring his life will be held noon Sunday, Aug. 26, at his sister’s camp on Molasses Pond, 1103 Maycomber Mill Road, Eastbrook.
