Deborah Lee (Rodick) Kinder

BANGOR – Deborah “Debbie” L. Kinder, 57, died July 30, 2012, after a brave fight against brain cancer in Burlington, Vt. She was born Dec. 3, 1954, in Bangor, daughter of Albert R. and Constance L. (Elliott) Rodick Jr.

Deborah attended Bangor elementary schools and graduated from Western Hills High School, Fort Worth, Texas, class of 1972. In Fort Worth, Texas, she met and married Roy E. Kinder, and moved around the world with the U.S. Air Force.

Deborah was predeceased by her husband, Roy E. Kinder. Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her son, Bryan M. Kinder and his wife, Kelly, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four grandchildren, Austin, Caitlyn, Ty and Trey; two sisters, Donna R. (Rodick) Ripley and her fiancé, Larry Grant, and Dianna L. Passmore and her husband, Henry “Skip,” of Bangor; nieces and nephews, Troy and Taryn Ripley, and Krista Taylor; her companion, James McClay; many aunts and uncles.

The family invites relatives and friends to a memorial reception 5-7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., Bangor. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.BrookingsSmith.com.
