ARLENE E. SPAULDING

BRENTWOOD, N.H. – Arlene E. Spaulding, 89, died June 14, 2012, at Rockingham County Nursing Home, Brentwood, N.H. She was born Sept. 23, 1922, in Milford, daughter of Ansel and Ethel Fowler.

Arlene lived most of her life in Maine, but moved to New Hampshire in 1996 to live with her son, Ron and wife, Betty, who gave special care and love to her for many years before moving to the nursing home. Arlene enjoyed watching and feeding birds. She also spent time with family and friends fishing throughout the years, and cooking some of her specialty recipes. She was a “spitfire” to those who knew her and had a great sense of humor.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest E. Spaulding; two brothers, Joe Fowler and Charlie Fowler; and four sisters, Leona Allan, Julia Carter, Virginia Madden and Bessy Young. She leaves behind her four sons and their families, Ernest Spaulding, Ray and Diane Spaulding, Ronald and Betty Spaulding, Robert Spaulding, and Tamra Raycraft; brothers, Stanley Fowler, Ansel Fowler, Orman Fowler; sister, Velma Buxton; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She will be forever missed by all.

A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. June 30 at Weld Cemetery, Greenbush.
