AUGUSTA, Maine — The state has been hit by yet another pharmacy robbery, this time at the CVS in Augusta, according to police.

Public Safety Spokesman Stephen McCausland said the robbery occurred at the Capitol Street establishment at 8 p.m. Monday.

The incident marks the 23rd pharmacy robbery in the state so far this year, according to McCausland.

No arrests have been made, and no further details were immediately available.

    Augusta PD arrested suspects 5 hours before the BDN even considered publishing this.

    Right now the BDN is over 5 hours behind on getting news…something they claim they report on.
