ALFRED, Maine — A 23-year-old Maine man charged with murder in the death of his infant son is making his first court appearance.
Gordon Collins-Faunce of Arundel is scheduled to appear Friday in York County Superior Court in Alfred. Collins-Faunce is charged with depraved indifference murder and other charges in connection with the death of his 2½-month-old son, Ethan Henderson.
The boy was taken to Maine Medical Center over the weekend after police were called to the home where Collins-Faunce lived with his girlfriend, their infant twins and her 3-year-old daughter from a previous relationship. The boy died Tuesday.
An affidavit says Collins-Faunce told police he squeezed his son’s head in frustration before throwing him hard into a living room chair, causing severe brain bleeding.
He’s being held on $100,000 bail.

His poor twin will grow up now without him. That will be traumatic for the surviving twin even though they never knew each other. Twins have a connections no matter what. He/she will feel like something is missing from his life. So tragic!
Lock him up and throw away the key. PTSD is no excuse for what he did.
