BETHEL, Maine — State police and the Oxford County Sheriff’s Department are continuing to seek the public’s help in the search for a Bethel woman who has now been missing nearly two months.

Fay Johnson, 62, has been missing since early March, Public Safety Spokesman Stephen McCausland said in a statement Thursday.

She was last seen as she was in the process of moving into an apartment. Her bank accounts and cellphone have had no activity since she was last seen March 7.

Johnson is 5 feet 7 inches and weighs between 140 and 170 pounds. She has several health problems, including bipolar disorder, according to McCausland.

Johnson also wears a medical alert bracelet marked “pacemaker.”

Police believe Johnson has ties to Lewiston and Biddeford. Anyone with information should contact state police in Gray at 1-800-228-0857.
