CARIBOU – Annette (Roy) Corriveau, 86, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012, with her family by her side at a Van Buren nursing home.
Annette was born May 11, 1925, in Frenchville, daughter of Henry and Pheobe (Gagnon) Voisine.
She was a devoted mother and wife, and was married to her husband, Patrick Corriveau for almost 70 years. Annette worked for many years at Reno’s Family Restaurant, where she loved to work beside her family. She was well known for her wonderful cooking and for her love of gardening.
In addition to her husband, Patrick, Annette is survived by her children and their spouses, Reno and Jeanette Corriveau of Caribou, Leo and Beverly Corriveau of Caribou, Rena and James Michaud of Caribou, Patrick Corriveau Jr. of Kentucky, Gloria Sheffield of Presque Isle, Theresa and Gene Smith of Virginia, Nelson and Brenda Corriveau of Caribou, Danny and Shellie Corriveau of Caribou, and Tammy Cyr of Caribou. She is also survived by her brother, Willard Voisine of Limestone; and sister, Bernice Valencourt of Bingham. She leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Annette was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Norman, Albert and Patrick Voisine; and sisters, Pricilla Roy and Daila Roy.
Friends and family may call 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, at Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover St., Caribou, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 1 p.m. with Father Aaron Damboise officiating.
