CARIBOU – Stephen Gilbert Bouchard, 57, died unexpectedly Feb. 10, 2012, in Boston. He was born Jan. 22, 1955, in Caribou, the son of the late Gilbert J. and Pearl B. (Caron) Bouchard.

Steve was a graduate of Caribou High School. Steve and his son Sean owned and operated Aroostook Foods, Caribou, and he spent his entire career in the food service business. Steve enjoyed interacting with his customers and truly enjoyed working in business with his son. He was a member of Parish of the Precious Blood Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a member of Knights of Columbus Fred B. Brescia Council and a member of Caribou ATV Club.

He is survived by his best friend and fianc‚e, Debbie Habeeb of Caribou; three sons, Sean Bouchard and his wife, Kara, of Caribou, Stephen Bouchard and his wife, Lanette, of Muskegan, Mich., and Eric Bouchard and his wife, Tara, of Portland, Mich.; two daughters, Nathalie Roy of Ajax, Ontario, and Tina Lemire of Westfield, Mass.; his brothers and sisters, Jeffery Bouchard and his wife, Laurie, of Jefferson, Mark Bouchard and his wife, Sandra, Gail Nadeau and her husband, Tony, and Cathy Bouchard Martin and Gary, all of Caribou; his grandchildren, Matthew Bouchard, Brieanna and Marissa Lemire, Seriah and Josiah Bouchard; very special nieces and nephews, Erica, Josh and Melissa Nadeau, Brandon, Ryan, Justin and Dustin Bouchard. He was predeceased by his parents; and a grandson, Braeden Bouchard.

Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Monday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, at Parish of the Precious Blood Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Very Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie, pastor, officiating in a Mass of Christian burial. Spring interment will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery. For an online register, please go to
