TURNER, Maine — Maine wardens say they are looking for a 47-year-old man who is missing after leaving his home to go snowmobiling on Friday.
The Maine Warden Service says Joey Mann of Dixfield left home at 11 a.m. Friday with plans to ride to Sabattus Pond in Wales and meet with his brother and spend the night.
Officials say Mann was last seen at about 6:30 p.m. Friday in Greene, where witnesses said he appeared confused while asking for directions.
Wardens are searching and gathering information on the ground and from an airplane.

Being lost in the woods during winter must be terrifying if you’re not prepared for it. I hope they find him soon and in good health!!!
Riding alone is never a good idea. It was warm yesterday. Too bad he hadn’t gotten more help from the people he ran into. Praying for him and his family.
I dont like going alone, except if its real local with cell coverage, other wise they say, ride in 3’s .Usually ride with anywhere from 6 to 10 other guys up north where their is zero cell coverage.Maybe its time we invested in some homing beacons like people out west do in the mountains.
The ice on Sabattus Lake not safe and that is why they have cancelled some fishing tournaments down this way.

Eerily familiar to the story of the rider lost on Graham Lake from Mariaville a couple of weeks ago. Hope this guy’s outcome is better! The family must be wrecked with worry!
