OLD TOWN, Maine — An Old Town woman who was pulled over for running a red light early Saturday was found to be intoxicated and was subsequently arrested, police said.

Old Town police Sgt. Scott Casey said Sarah Hinman, 24, made a left-hand turn on a red arrow from College Avenue onto Stillwater Avenue early Saturday and was pulled over by Officer Lee Miller.

Casey said the officer conducted field sobriety tests, which Hinman failed, resulting in her arrest and a charge of operating under the influence.

No passengers were in Hinman’s vehicle, according to Casey. She was taken to the Penobscot County Jail and later released on bail.

FBI agent files lawsuit after pickup caught fire in January 2005

An FBI agent who pleaded guilty to drunken driving has sued the maker
of his pickup because it caught fire after he passed out behind the
    wheel.

Robert Clymer, who was involved in a high-profile investigation of
the Crazy Horse Too strip club, had a blood-alcohol content of 0.306
percent, nearly four times the current legal limit, and was unconscious
Police found an empty 25-ounce bottle of Captain Morgan rum on the
passenger seat and a SIG Sauer 9 mm pistol in the truck’s cab.

Security guards at the hotel called police about 3:20 a.m. to report a man in the parking lot with a gun.

The man left before officers arrived, but he left behind a 15-round
magazine from his gun. Officers matched the magazine to Robert Clymer’s
    gun.

A weapons charge was dismissed in a plea agreement on the drunken driving charge.

  2. Old Town, ME    bath salt users, smelly dump, trashy trailer parks, home burglaries    daily stories  for the BDN

    1. I’m sure the town you live in has none of the problems that Old Town, Bangor,  Lewiston,  Lincoln,  Millinocket,   Rockland,  and all the other towns we read about in the BDN has.  You should start with local government,   work your way to Governor,  and make your high production,  low crime town a model.
Honestly,  the whole state,  country, and world share similar issues.
