End Polio walk

Five Rotary clubs from midcoast Maine kicked off Rotary International's End Polio Now Campaign recently with a marathon walk from Belfast to Rockland. Approximately 100 Rotarians and their families raised nearly $10,000 for the cause. Their contribution will be matched by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation with a grant of up to $350 million. Over the past 20 years, Rotary has raised more than $1 billion for End Polio Now. Belfast, Camden, Rockland, West Bay and the Camden Hills Interact clubs participated in the walk. Pictured are members of the Camden Hill Interact Club as they prepare for the walk.
