Cemetery Dance Publications announced Tuesday that it’s releasing a 25th Anniversary Special Limited Edition of “IT” by Stephen King. The exclusive deluxe special edition features the complete text of King’s classic novel, a new afterword by King, full-color wraparound artwork by Glen Orbik, and nearly 30 original color and black and white interior illustrations by Alan M. Clark and Erin Wells.
“IT” is one of Stephen King’s most beloved novels, which he calls his “final exam on Famous Monsters” in his new afterword, and this is easily the biggest, most lavish production Cemetery Dance Publications has ever undertaken. They have hired Kate Freeman Design, which was behind other Stephen King Limited Editions including “The Secretary of Dreams,” “Blockade Billy,” “Riding the Bullet” and “Full Dark, No Stars” to design this edition and make it unlike any published before.
The deluxe oversize and slip-cased gift edition is available for $125, while the deluxe oversize signed and tray-cased limited edition is $475.
This is not the first time Cemetery Dance Publications has worked with the King of Horror. Also shipping now is King’s “The Secretary of Dreams (Volume Two),” an exclusive oversize and slip-cased collectible special edition hardcover that is not available in stores. The book features classic tales of terror from King combined with the haunting artwork of Maine artist Glenn Chadbourne.
