CONNOR TOWNSHIP – Roger Allen Joseph Thibodeau, 64, died April 10, 2011, at his residence. He was born Nov. 7, 1946, in Caribou, the son of Euclid and Gertrude (Ouellette) Thibodeau.

He was a graduate of Caribou High School and was employed in the sales department of Theriault Tire, Caribou, for more than 27 years. Roger was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a third degree member of Fred V. Brescia Council Knights of Columbus.

Surviving, in addition to his mother of Caribou, are his fiancee, Geraldine “DeeDe” Kelley of Connor; his daughter, Sheila Thibodeau of Maryland; his two sons and daughters-in-law, Joey and Stephanie Thibodeau of Caribou and Bruce and Jacinda Thibodeau of Maryland; one sister, Frances Szymanski of Virginia; seven grandchildren, Brett and Janelle Thibodeau, Brianne Gagnon, Abigail, Madison, Copper and Jennifer Thibodeau; three nephews and a niece; as well as his faithful companion, Toby. Roger was predeceased by his wife, Helen (Ouellette) Thibodeau, in 2000; his father, Euclid; a brother, Bobby; and a sister, Nancy Beaupre.

Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou, where evening prayer services will be held 6:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, April 14, at Parish of the Precious Blood, Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Clement Thibodeau officiating. Interment will be at the parish cemetery. After the service all are invited to a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at the parish hall.
