Foster helps Husson earn split


WINTER HAVEN, Fla.– Dylan Foster drove in three runs to lead the Husson University baseball team to a 9-1 win over St. Norbert in the first game of a Tuesday doubleheader.
St. Norbert won game two 9-5.
In game one, Foster doubled and singled to drive in his three runs to lead Husson.
Josh Gaudette had two singles and two RBIs and Kevin Rennick a two-run single.
Chris Hillesheim doubled and singled for St. Norbert.
In game two, St. Norbert jumped out to an 8-4 lead after three innings en route to the win.
Hillesheim doubled and singled to knock in a run while Garrick Fisher had two singles and two RBIs for the winners.
Shawn Smith had a double and single with an RBI for Husson.

Keene State 10, St. Joseph’s 9
At Babson Park, Fla., Juan Bisono drove home what proved to be the game-winner with an RBI single in the top of the ninth as Keene State edged St. Joseph’s.
Tyler DiPrato had two singles and two RBIs for the winners while Greg Bates collected two singles and a triple.
Mike Pratt led St. Joseph’s with three doubles and two RBIs.

St. Joe’s gets split
At Fort Myers, Fla., St. Joseph’s of Standish defeated Washington College 9-1 in the Gene Cusic Classic while falling in its second game, 4-1, to Worcester State.
In the first game, Emily Leverone collected three doubles and drove in three runs and scored two more to lead the Monks.
Alyssa Dunn contributed two singles and two RBIs for the winners.
In the second game, Hannah Everson allowed one run on one hit while striking out seven to power Worcester State.
Jamie Jacobs knocked in two runs with a single for the winners.
Dunn homered for St. Joseph’s.
