We’ve all heard about the salmonella recall affecting the egg industry nationally. How safe are the eggs produced in Maine? We’ll report on egg testing at the University of Maine, visit a local chicken farm and talk with state veterinarian Don Honig. Reporter: Meg Haskell

Bloggers and others are taking Rep. Chellie Pingree to task for flying around on a private jet owned by her billionaire fiance Donald Sussman. Pingree, a Democrat, has been outspoken in condemning members of Congress from accepting rides from corporate entities, how does she justify her own travel habits and is she breaking ethics rules? What’s the status of the investigation into $200,000 missing from the town coffers of Newburgh? There have been reports that the state auditor might get involved and that possibly audits have been left out of the town report for years.
