LIMESTONE, Maine — A Madawaska man is facing multiple charges after allegedly assaulting a woman with whom he was in a relationship.

The incident happened just before 4:30 p.m. Saturday, according to Investigator John Deveau of the Limestone Police Department.

Limestone Officer Ryan Eagles and Deveau were called to assist with the investigation.

Police contacted the Madawaska Police Department, and Madawaska police Officer Kevin Deschaine located Collins at his residence.

Collins was interviewed and charged with burglary, domestic assault, domestic violence criminal threatening, criminal mischief and harassment by telephone.
