ACADIA NATIONAL PARK, Maine – The daughter of President George W. Bush will be in Acadia National Park Wednesday to appear live on the “Today” as part of the NBC morning staple’s series on national parks.

Jenna Bush Hager commented Tuesday morning during a live appearance from Arches National Park in Utah she would be in Acadia on Wednesday. Acadia Superintendent Sheridan Steele confirmed Tuesday afternoon Hager’s appearance.

“They’ve done a lot of taping already,” Steele said of the advance work conducted by “Today.” “It’ll be a six to seven minute segment on Acadia National Park, with a live piece.”

Three years ago Hager became engaged to her now-husband, Henry Hager, when the two went hiking on Cadillac Mountain in Acadia. They married in 2008.
