BROWNVILLE JUNCTION and BREWER – Annette E. Robichaud, 86, wife of the late Lawrence J. Robichaud, died May 2, 2010, at a Brewer nursing facility. She was born June 16, 1923, in Quebec, the daughter of Edward and Rose (Beaudoin) Quirion. A graduate of Brownville Junction High School, Annette was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be remembered fondly by many for the years she spent as postmaster of Brownville Junction U.S. Post Office. Annette dearly loved her job. She was an avid gardener, along with her late husband, Bucky, and many enjoyed the harvest they shared. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Dexter and her husband, Timothy, of Brewer; her beloved granddaughter, Traci of New Hampshire, who will miss her deeply; a son, David Robichaud and his wife, Sharon, of New Hampshire; sisters, Catherine Quirion of Dexter, and Mildred Richards and her husband, Earl, of Dexter; a brother, Edward Quirion and his wife, Marjorie, of Florida; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister and her husband, Donalda and Omar Cleaves; and two brothers, Lorenzo and Oliva Quirion. Annette’s family thanks the caregivers of Brewer Rehabilitation and Living Center, and Beacon Hospice who showered Annette with incredible kindness, compassion and love. A funeral service will be conducted 10 a.m. Thursday, May 6, at Sts. Francis Xavier and Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Milo, with Deacon Fred Harrigan officiating. Burial will be in the family lot at Pinetree Cemetery, Brownville Junction.
