Maine Central Institute 295 Main Street, Pittsfield, Maine 04967 (207) 487-3355 www.mci-school.org Assistant Director of Alumni Affairs Maine Central Institute, an independent secondary Town Academy located in central Maine, seeks a dynamic and enthusiastic individual for the full-time year-round position of Assistant Director of Alumni Affairs. This individual will work primarily with alumni and have responsibility for the School’s annual fund. Other responsibilities include oversight and management of alumni programs and events, volunteer recruitment, prospect research, and the establishment of regional alumni chapters and a young alumni program. Occasional evening work and some travel will be required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database management is required; knowledge of Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge database system is a plus. Education requirements include a bachelor’s degree; two to three years of experience in the field preferred; however, a combination of education and experience will be considered. Candidates should have excellent written and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to set and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. Particular interest will be given to candidates who are alumni of MCI.
