STOKESDALE, N.C. – Ruby Wilson Campbell passed away peacefully in her sleep Aug. 16, 2009, with family by her side at Countryside Village, Stokesdale, N.C., where she had resided. She was born Dec. 18, 1914, on Essex Street, Bangor. She was a member of Flat Rock Methodist Church, Stokesdale, N.C. She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Hazen E. Campbell. She is survived by a son, Ted and wife, Connie Turner, of Greensboro, N.C.; a daughter, Deidra Ferguson and husband, John Ferguson, of Marco Island, Fla.; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and sister, Callie Ellis of Bangor.
