Missing children found safe in Biddeford

BIDDEFORD, Maine — Two young children who disappeared Friday evening have been found safe in Biddeford.

After a four-hour search in the city, police found the 6-year-olds in an abandoned apartment around 12:30 a.m. Saturday.

The mother of one of the children told a local television station the children got trapped in a closet in the apartment.
