PORTLAND, Maine — A Standish woman accused of trying to kill her 53-year-old husband early Easter Sunday remains in jail on $100,000 bail following her initial appearance in Cumberland County Superior Court.

Forty-seven-year-old Linda Dolloff entered no plea Friday to charges of attempted murder, elevated aggravated assault and filing a false report in connection with the April 12 attack on Jeffrey Dolloff.

The Portland Press Herald said defense lawyer Martin Ridge did not argue the bail amount but said he plans to file a motion seeking a hearing to revisit the bail issue.

Linda Dolloff sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen during the incident and said an intruder had attacked the couple. The charges were filed after a two-month investigation.
