PORTLAND, Maine — The government is sending Maine $463,000 to help about 100 workers laid off at True Textiles in Guilford and Newport.

The money is part of the national stimulus program. It will pay for training and services to help workers get new jobs.

The aid is in addition to other federal money for people who lose jobs because of foreign competition.
