JOY WEISS

MARIAVILLE – In loving memory of Joy Elissa Weiss, who died at her home in Mariaville on Tuesday, June 22, 2004, at the age of 24. Joy was a very special person who had a gentle caring nature and she deeply touched the lives of all who knew her. Through all of her life’s many struggles, milestones and medical battles, she kept a positive outlook and an undying faith in God. Although her life was short, she was an inspiration and example to many and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her family, who have her forever in our hearts and are counting the days until we can be with her in heaven, her parents, Herbert and Barbara Weiss of Mariaville; a brother, Clint Weiss of Mariaville; a sister, Angel Merchant; a brother-in-law, Lawrence Merchant; and two nephews, Matthew and Daniel Merchant, all of Otis; a grandfather, Harold Sierer of Boiling Springs, Pa.; a grandmother, Norma Kirrner of Levittown, Pa.; and many, many aunts, uncles and cousins. Joy is also survived by her special friend and sweetheart, Justin Brown; and by numerous friends and companions. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, June 27, 2004, at the Ellsworth High School.
