WISCONSIN – Allard Ray MacArthur passed away June 26, 2006, in Wisconsin after a long illness. He was born May 18, 1958, in Calais, the son of Ellis Ray MacArthur and Charlotte (Strout) Kneeland and stepson of Ruby (Howard) MacArthur. Allard enjoyed camping and the outdoors. He had a soft heart and appreciated his family and friends. Allard lived the life that made him happiest and loved to party. He is survived by his parents; one son, Brent of Minnesota; two daughters, Monica of Massachusetts and Heather of Maine; six sisters, Sandra Merritt and husband, Tommy, of Maine, Esther Kolinski and husband, Mike, of Wisconsin, Christine Fullerton and husband, John, of Texas, LauraLee Martin and Mark of Maine, Jill Fullerton and husband, Ted, of Massachusetts, Michelle Paige and husband, Barry, of Louisiana; three brothers, Ricky MacArthur of Wisconsin, Jamie MacArthur and wife, Jen, of Maine, Brad Kneeland and wife, Karen, of Wisconsin; four step brothers and step sisters, Peggy, Skippy, Wayne and Diane, all of Maine; grandson, JD McLaughlin of Maine; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed and always remembered by a special friend, Linda Rose of Wisconsin. Allard was predeceased by all his grandparents; the love of his life, Karen (Martin) Church; and a nephew, Jason Martin. “To my many relatives, friends, rattleboots, and acquaintances, hey, man, I have one last thing to say, ‘I did it my way.’” A remembrance will be held at a later date for immediate family only.
