This marks the 45th year of Maine’s modern-era moose hunt.
This year, 4,105 lucky hunters will get the opportunity to pursue the state’s largest game animal during the 2025 season, which begins on Sept. 22.
On Saturday, the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife will announce the results of the 2025 Maine moose hunt permit lottery at an event in Farmington.
The full list of permit winners, including the weeks and Wildlife Management Districts for which they are drawn, is included below.
