What you need to know about Maine’s new healthcare marketplace

Answering your questions about Maine’s open enrollment period for 2022 health insurance coverage

Join us for this November 22 conversation with Maine DHHS Commissioner Jeanne Lambrew, Kate Ende, Policy Director of Consumers for Affordable Health Care and Patty Lovell, lead Healthcare Navigator at Western Maine Community Action. These experts answer reader questions about the new CoverME.gov healthcare marketplace for Maine. Learn what you need to know to take advantage of the open enrollment period.

The new flexible marketplace is designed to be less overwhelming than Healthcare.gov. If you’re looking for coverage starting January 1, 2022, you’ll need to apply through CoverME.gov before December 15, 2021.

BDN Events and Left Bank Books Present: Annie Coggan and Noël Claro in Conversation | The Book of Errors

Join us on Tuesday, October 26 at 7:00p.m. as Maine-based author, artist, and teacher Annie Coggan sits down with Noël Claro, Creative Producer at Netflix, to discuss and celebrate the release of her newest book, The Book of Errors.

The Book of Errors is the tale of three architects who shaped and altered the stories of three historic American structures—the Henry Knox Museum in Maine, Fraunces Tavern in New York City, and the Betsy Ross House in Philadelphia. The book takes its title from the preservation missteps and preconceptions of those involved, and through drawings, ephemera, and imaginings considers the narratives of history we create through architecture.
