A Massachusetts man allegedly fled from a drug bust in Skowhegan.
Braylin Nunez, 25, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, is wanted on an arrest warrant for aggravated drug trafficking, aggravated drug furnishing, and refusal to submit to arrest or detention, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
Nunez was traveling in a silver 2021 Toyota Tacoma, along with 57-year-old Ruth Crandall of Rockland and 26-year-old Taylor Meader of Sidney, on the evening of Sept. 12 when a state trooper stopped them, Moss said Tuesday morning.
During a search of the Toyota, the trooper found more than 12 ounces of suspected crack cocaine.
While Crandall and Meader were arrested, Nunez allegedly fled.
Crandall was charged with unlawful drug furnishing and unlawful drug possession, while Meader was charged with unlawful drug trafficking, according to Moss.
