As the trusted Senate Majority Leader and then president of the Maine state Senate for years, Troy Jackson showed Mainers that he will fight to lower prescription drug costs, expand health care access, ensure that public school students receive free meals, protect unions and Maine’s hard-working women and men, and champion reproductive rights. When I look back at all he has achieved for Maine, it gives me great confidence that he can do the same for all of us in Washington.
It is past the time for a pivot in our country. I believe that Troy Jackson, with his commitment to getting dark money out of politics, making sure billionaires and corporations pay their fair share, providing tax relief for working people, and protecting our right to vote, is the right person at the right time.
He does not need to prove his commitment because we have seen his actions, and, time and time again, Troy Jackson has fought for and delivered on his promises. As a third-generation Maine business owner, I trust this fifth-generation Maine logger to steer us in the right direction, and I urge you to vote for Troy Jackson for U.S. Senate on Nov. 3.
