The offering of a $5,000 bribe to vote for Republicans violates multiple federal laws when it comes to an expenditure to induce someone to vote, refrain from voting or to vote for a specific candidate. Penalties may include fines and jail time up to five years.

Are we to ignore Donald Trump’s offer that clearly is outside his role as president and likely outside the immunity offered by the U.S. Supreme Court?

As I have done, please contact our federal representatives and demand accountability.
