A native of Veazie, Hackett attended Bangor High School and graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in business management. He worked in hospitality and retail management, prior to entering the insurance field four years ago. Hackett is licensed in Property and Casualty, as well as Life and Health Insurance. He resides in Bangor and enjoys skiing, sports, reading, and guitar.
