AUBURN, Maine — A 72-year-old West Bath man has died in a motorcycle crash in Auburn, police said.
Roger Chessey went off the road and hit a tree Friday afternoon. Chessey, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Neither speed nor alcohol appear to be factors in the crash.
